I am Michele Gardiner, a Masters' level, registered Canadian Certified Counsellor/Psychotherapist (C.C.C.) with the CCPA in good standing and the founder of ELEMENTAL Psychotherapy, a private Outpatient therapy practice dedicated to supporting individuals through healing and recovery from
Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders, & Concurrent Mental Health Issues in Adults including:

Located in the private and peaceful setting of Summerland, BC, I provide compassionate, caring, person-centred therapy, with
17 years of clinical counselling experience and extensive training in my areas of practice applying Evidence-based approaches of CBT, DBT, EFT, Flash Technique (EMDR), MI, and Somatic Embodiment and Regulation therapies augmented with
Expressive Arts, Mindfulness, Nature, and Intuitive Eating therapies.
As a Humanistic therapist, I apply an Attachment-based and Trauma-Informed lens and greet you in a place of collaboration
and nonjudgement to promote a safe and inclusive space that builds on your existing strengths and wisdom while nurturing hope, healthier regulation and coping skills, and a sense of Self that aligns with your authentic core values and goals for living.

Free 30 Minute Phone Consultation
I work with adults, age 20 and above, and provide a free 30-minute phone consultation to begin.
Individuals can self-refer or be referred by a trusted health professional.
During therapy for an eating disorder it is beneficial to include your Family Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Registered Dietician in your treatment journey so we can work together to support you toward greater wellness, functioning and freedom.
Insurance Coverage
I am a Registered Service Provider and work with
BC Emergency Health Services, Blue Cross, Green Shield, Optima Global Health, Metis Association of BC, and others.
To avoid financial strain and disappointment, always confirm coverage before beginning therapy.
